first direct shows its support for the UK’s widest touring ballet company

As the National Tour Sponsor of Northern Ballet, first direct has committed to helping keep the Leeds-based Company’s three lorries on the road over the next year as they travel the length and breadth of the UK.

The Northern Ballet is the UK’s widest touring ballet company, performing a combination of full-length ballets and specially created ballets for children at over 40 venues annually.

As a registered charity, it relies on philanthropic support from individuals, companies and Trusts and Foundations to deliver it diverse artistic and education programme to the widest possible audience nationwide.

The vehicles will transport its sets, costumes and equipment across thousands of miles in the next 12 months, helping to increase the visibility and awareness of two of Yorkshire’s leading brands.
