    First direct is ‘Answering the Call’ and raising £2.1m for ChildLine

    First direct raises a whopping £440,000 for ChildLine in 2009  

    At the beginning of this year we formed a partnership with the NSPCC and agreed to raise £2 million for the Child’s Voice Appeal by 2011.  Here’s an up-date on how we’ve done so far.  The grand total raised is £439,820 from various fundraising and sponsorship initiatives such as the Big Bike Ride, the Somerset House event and the HACK.

    first direct helps ChildLine launch new online services with online charity auction  

    first direct, the UK's leading direct bank, is helping the NSPCC to launch its new online services for children and young people.  One of first direct's latest initiatives was an internal online auction to celebrate the NSPCC's launch of www.ChildLine.org.uk.
